Xenacode supplies businesses with bespoke software. A Cornwall based software and
web development company we strive to provide our customers with the service they
deserve. Founded in Cornwall, UK in 2006 by Pete Luetchford the business has grown
steadily since. Specialising in computer system software development we now offer
a bespoke software solution UK wide, with clients both locally and nationally.
Pete Luetchford
I began my IT career just as the Millenium Bug was about to hit the fan. After a
few years previously working in industrial chemicals and technical sales I decided
it was time for a change and that IT was where the action was. I started as a Junior
Programmer working for Harlyn Systems (then Cadability) in Exeter coding Bespoke
Software in VB4 & 5 using Oracle databases and quickly worked my way up the
ladder to be an Analyst Programmer. Since then I have held a few bespoke development
positions, using VB6, VB.NET ASP.NET and SQL Server before moving into management
roles specialising in software development and data analytics in Australia and the
UK. I went solo in 2006 and now enjoy a variety of software development, web development
and data projects working with Xenacode.
Ben Townend
Having grown up in Cornwall I always hoped to return, but before the growth of the
internet this seemed an unlikely proposition. After studying computing in Birmingham
I spent several years living and working in Exeter for the Environment Agency and
Cognito Software in Crediton supporting bespoke software. Moving to Cornwall, I
spent eight years working for CFP Software suppliers of bespoke software to the
property letting industry. It was during this time I moved from supporting to writing
bespoke software. After six years of writing bespoke software for them, I felt that
it was time for a new challenge and in early 2009 I joined Pete at Xenacode.
